Eclipse not updating maven dependencies

The only explanation I have is that perhaps there were network issues or problems at the repository end when I did all this yesterday. It builds in a few seconds running Maven from a command-line. It was going ok for a few hours but then it tried to Updating Maven Dependencies and hangs on that for hours. I wish to import more projects than this and previous attempts at that lead to it hanging for several hours. Comment 4 Damon Horrell So it hasn't hung, it's just painfully slow. I can't think of anything I have done differently because yesterdays attempts were also with a fresh Eclipse installation and workspace and I have installed exactly the same additional plugins in both cases. I'd like to know: Add an attachment proposed patch, testcase, etc. I wish to import more projects than this and previous attempts at that lead to it hanging for several hours.
